This short, easy rafting tour was designed for children and families, so the emphasis is on fun and safety on the water. The rapids are small, but exciting for kids, and make a great introduction to the world of outdoor adventure. At the end of the tour the river lets out into Lake Brienz, where everyone can hop out and enjoy a swim!

Know Before You Go
- Meeting Point: Most family rafting tours begin at a central base in Interlaken or another nearby location. Detailed instructions are provided upon booking
- Route: Typically, the tour follows calm sections of the river, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Popular routes include gentle stretches of the Simme River or Aare River, known for their scenic beauty and mild currents
- Transportation: Transfers to and from the rafting site are often included, ensuring convenience for participants
- Accessibility: Family rafting is suitable for individuals with moderate mobility. However, participants should be able to get in and out of the raft with assistance. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
- Present your voucher (digital or printed) at the meeting point
- Arrive 15–30 minutes before the scheduled time for check-in
- Use your Swiss Pass for free/discounted transport to the site (if applicable)
- Ensure the voucher is valid for the selected date or confirm in advance for open-dated vouchers
- Follow cancellation or rescheduling policies as needed.
- All excursions are now booked with a validity date &
- there is no open dated voucher option. The mountain excursion vouchers are valid for travel from the date selected until the validity of Swiss Travel pass, Eurail Pass &
- Full Fare ticket validity
- The Voucher should be printed on A4 Size paper and carried along it should not be tampered /amended / changed due to the pre-approved format from Excursion Company. In case of any tampering of the voucher, service or tickets will not be provided to the customer by the excursion company.

- This is an independent self guided tour
- In case of bad weather conditions such as rain, fog or snow, the train will run, but the view of the glacier and the mountain range will be limited and no refund will be provided for partially used vouchers
- Please note that the tampered vouchers will not be accepted at the exchange counters of respective Excursions
- Issued vouchers are NON-REFUNDABLE within 3 days of the travel date
- Children aged 6 - 15 accompanied by at least 1 parent, travel free with the complimentary Swiss Family Card
