At over 3000 meters above sea level, Glacier 3000 offers thrilling activities and breathtaking views for all ages. The journey begins with a cable car ride from Col du Pillon, where you'll marvel at the summit station designed by architect Mario Botta
- Once at the top, enjoy a panoramic view of over 24 peaks, including the Jungfrau, Matterhorn, and Mont Blanc. After a day of adventure, treat yourself to local cuisine at the Botta Restaurant, while taking in the stunning scenery

- All excursions are now booked with a validity date & there is no open dated voucher option. The mountain excursion vouchers are valid for travel from the date selected until the validity of Swiss Travel pass, Eurail Pass & Full Fare ticket validity
- The Voucher should be printed on A4 Size paper and carried along
- it should not be tampered /amended / changed due to the pre-approved format from Excursion Company. In case of any tampering of the voucher, service or tickets will not be provided to the customer by the excursion company.
- This is an independent,self guided tour
- In case of bad weather conditions such as rain, fog or snow, the train will run, but the view of the glacier and the mountain range will be limited and no refund will be provided for partially used vouchers
- Please note that the tampered vouchers will not be accepted at the exchange counters of respective Excursions
- Issued vouchers are NON-REFUNDABLE within 3 days of the travel date
- Children aged 6 - 15 accompanied by at least 1 parent, travel free with the complimentary Swiss Family Card

The Glacier 3000 ticket includes the cable car ride, Peak Walk, Glacier Walk, Ice Express, and Fun Park. Other activities, such as the Alpine Coaster (available only during summer), Snow Bus, or dog sledding, are not included in this ticket and must be purchased separately
The most convenient way is to travel by train or car to the Col du Pillon station near Les Diablerets. From there, you can take the Glacier 3000 cable car to the summit. Parking is available at the cable car station for those driving
Temperatures at Glacier 3000 can be very cold, even in summer. We recommend wearing layered clothing, a warm jacket, gloves, and sturdy, closed shoes. Sunglasses and sunscreen are essential due to the high-altitude sun and glare from the snow
The cable car is open all year round except from 20.10. to 07.11.2025. It runs every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 4.50 p.m. (please note the seasonal times). We recommend consulting the applicable timetable for exact departure times before planning your visit
It is not possible to reserve a seat. However, we recommend booking your ticket in advance during peak seasons to ensure a smooth experience
Yes, children must be at least 3 years old and accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, specific height and weight restrictions may apply. Additionally, the Alpine Coaster is only operational during the summer months
A typical visit to Glacier 3000, including travel, activities, and dining, can take 4-6 hours. However, you can extend your visit based on the activities you choose
Yes, the Peak Walk by Tissot is safe for visitors of all ages. It is designed with safety railings, but individuals with mobility challenges or a fear of heights may wish to evaluate their comfort level before crossing
Yes, dogs are accepted free of charge in the cable cars and on the chairlift to the glacier. In the restaurants and on the Glacier Walk, it is mandatory to keep them on a leash
Children: Children aged 6 to under 16 pay 50% if a parent or adult purchases a full-price ticket and does not have an STS pass. If a parent holds a valid STS pass (Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass Flex, or Swiss Half Fare Card), children travel free with the Swiss Family Card. Senior Citizens: No discounts are available for senior citizens
Once the purchase is complete, you will receive an e-voucher by e-mail. You must exchange the e-voucher for a valid ticket at the ticket office before you can start your journey with the mountain railway
The Glacier 3000 excursion is not recommended for: Pregnant women Children under 2 years People with serious health conditions or breathing issues
Yes, to receive a price reduction, one day of the Flex Pass must be validated
