- From Interlaken Ost railway station to Grindelwald Terminal via the Bernese Oberland Railway. Change there and take the Eiger Express tricable gondola directly to the Eiger Glacier. Journey time from Grindelwald Terminal to Eiger Glacier station: 15 minutes.
- From the Eiger Glacier station there is a connection to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe every 30 minutes, depending on season and demand.
- With a direct transfer option, you will be on the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe and on the slopes 47 minutes faster than before.
- Exchange our voucher at Interlaken Ost station ticket counter or at Grindelwald terminal station ticket counter to get original bar coded tickets.
- All excursions are now booked with a validity date & there is no open dated voucher option. The mountain excursion vouchers are valid for travel from the date selected until the validity of Swiss Travel pass, Eurail Pass & Full Fare ticket validity.
- The Voucher should be printed on A4 Size paper and carried along
- it should not be tampered /amended / changed due to the pre-approved format from Excursion Company. In case of any tampering of the voucher, service or tickets will not be provided to the customer by the excursion company."
- Seat Reservation Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe: FIT seat reservation is mandatory from 1.05.2025 until 31.08.2025
- This is an independent,self guided tour.
- In case of bad weather conditions such as rain, fog or snow, the train will run, but the view of the glacier and the mountain range will be limited and no refund will be provided for partially used vouchers.
- Please note that the tampered vouchers will not be accepted at the exchange counters of respective Excursions.
- Issued vouchers are NON-REFUNDABLE within 3 days of the travel date.
- Children aged 6 - 15 accompanied by at least 1 parent, travel free with the complimentary Swiss Family Card

On your excursion to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, to the highest railway station in Europe, you will climb to an altitude of 3,454 metres above sea level and reach the alpine mountain world. In summer and winter, temperatures below freezing point are to be expected and weather changes can also occur at short notice. We recommend that you dress according to the so-called “onion principle” so that you can adapt your clothing to the conditions. The basic equipment for the excursion includes a jacket, closed shoes, a hat, a pair of gloves and sunglasses because of the high-altitude sun.
The fastest and most comfortable way takes you via Grindelwald Terminal / the new Eiger Express tricable gondola to the Jungfraujoch. From the Eiger Glacier station there is a connection to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe every 30 minutes, depending on season and demand. For details, please visit jungfrau.ch/fahrplan.
For the journey to the Jungfraujoch, we strongly recommend a paid seat reservation (CHF 10 per person). This reservation is valid for return journeys on the Jungfrau Railway from Eigergletscher / Kleine Scheidegg and ensures that you can travel at the desired time. Without a timed seat reservation, the Jungfrau Railway may well be full at peak times and you will have to wait for the next train.
