- Visitors generally spend around 1.5 to 2 hours exploring the park. This allows time to take in the detailed models, enjoy the interactive features, and take plenty of photos. If you have a keen interest in Swiss architecture or railways, you may wish to spend more time appreciating the intricacies of each model.
Know Before You Go
- Swiss Miniatur is wheelchair accessible with ramps and smooth pathways. There are also designated parking spaces for visitors with reduced mobility. The park is easily reachable via train to Melide station, just a short walk from the entrance. Alternatively, visitors can drive, as the park is well-connected by the A2 motorway. Routes inside the park are designed for easy navigation, with ramps and elevators where necessary.
- If you're traveling with a Swiss Travel Pass, you can use it to gain free entry to Swiss Miniatur. Simply present your Swiss Pass at the entrance ticket counter
- The Swiss Pass voucher is valid for the entire duration of your travel pass. Ensure that your Swiss Pass is active and valid before use
- No additional charges will apply for Swiss Pass holders, but non-pass holders may need to buy tickets separately.
- The voucher associated with your Swiss Travel Pass is valid for the duration of your Swiss Pass. For example, if your Swiss Pass is valid for 3 days, the voucher will also be valid for those 3 days. Be sure to check the expiration date on your voucher to ensure it’s within the valid time frame.
- Dress Appropriately: The park is an outdoor attraction, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear, especially if you plan to walk the entire park
- Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the park to ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors
- Weather: In case of bad weather, certain outdoor exhibits may be temporarily closed, but the park remains open. Please check weather conditions before your visit
- Parking: Free parking is available on-site, though spaces can be limited during busy periods, especially in peak seasons.
